She is great! I like her way of painting.She does not worry about fussy details and she studied art in Newcastle University. My sponsor was born in Newcastle as well. (He didn't go to the uni though.)These days, I'm calling my husband, a sponsor, because He always encourages my hobby. I need paper which isnot cheap, paint as well. Whenever I try to exhibit my works, I need some mounts and frames as well. My sponsor(husband) never complains about all those costs. In Japan, it is called "Gaman zuyoi". It means "patient". Thank you for helping me all the time. Please give me 10 more years. I'm supposed to be a real artist.Oh, if I can't be I just simply said,"sorry, your investment failed."

Just today I remembered something that happened last year, at the Al Ain music school charity concert.
Almost all kids participated for it. A 7 year-old girl's performance impressed all audiences that day.
The girl's name is Siena, she was playing her tune smoothly, but suddenly she forgot the rest of the tune.(because kids are not supposed to use books)
She started staring at the piano without emotion,all audience become just like statues. I can't remember how long it took.
Nobody said anything. Nobody moved.Silence dominated quite long time. Fortunately, Siena remembered the rest of the tune and played until the end. My heart was bouncing. Well done! Well done Siena. She got the best applause in the concert. My daughter, Aki is 8 years old. If she had faced with the same circumstance, would she have been able to overcome like her? So many kids are taking instrument lessons. To play very difficult tunes is very good, but are they taking lessons only for that? Siena taught us why?

So this guy seems unbalanced. I don't know how to fix this ratio.

My daughter,Aki's best friend is a Finnish girl. Yesterday,Aki played piano in front of her. That was unusual. Because Aki doesn't like to show off. However, after Aki's performance,her best friend said " Aki, I've never ever listened to such wonderful piano!" Wow, such a compliment. Aki's been taking piano lesson for 3 years. Her level is very normal, she has no outstanding talent.She is very, very normal. But such a compliment! I know that girl's environment(parents)are creating this person who doesn't hesitate to compliment somebody. Japanese especially are not good at compliments. I'm very bad at them. To be positive and sensitive, these are the keys to praising and making people happy.

I didn't paint anything today. So I borrowed my daughter's art. I don't know what it is supposed to be. She's been really seriously drawing this all day. Even when we were playing tennis."Mum, I need a rest." but I realized that was an excuse to draw this. She says it isn't completed yet. I can see two guys faces inside this piece. What can you see? Kids are pure, aren't they?

My plan is to post art work every day. However, I was really busy last week painting for anart exhibition which I had to deliver materials for on 21st of Feb in Dubai. I will paint at least one pic a day from today. Practice! Practice! practice!
I've told you I went to see Salukis last week and took lots of photos of them. But painting hairy animals is the most difficult of subjects for me. I need some more practice. When I mentioned about the Salukis, I told you about we ate their food, but I forgot to tell you about the taste. It was actually very tasty . If the staff hadn't said anything, we would not have known that was dog food.
