It's time to plan about this summer holiday. what can we do for 3 months holiday?
I'll have to stay with my mother in Japan, but Aki would go to Paris and England with Dad.
Disneyland and a museum in Paris. It would be great for Aki.

something new

 

Ive been trying something new in my work. Iranian, Faica's work are amazing! I've come to like all of them, but they are still too expensive to buy. Her style is completely different from other Iranians.

Tonight dinner were prawn tenpura and chicken katu. So still our whole house is full of tenpura's smell.
so I don't feel like painting tonight. It is an excuse though.

 

Mysterious ring! I got this felt ring from Miriam and her friend's hand craft works for one of Aki's birthday presents.
This is an amazing ring. I know the characteristics of wool which shrinks in water. However, how can they make this ring without any seams? All the parts join together. I hope Aki likes it.I don't think she can understand why this is so precious though.

Last weekend, we went to see the Cirque de Soleil. Producer Franco Dragone.
Alegria means happiness, joy and merriment.The artists are more talented, the costumes, the make-up,and sound are more impressive than last year. All are amazing! Their acrobatic skills are .....there are no words to explain.
The only thing I missed was the skipping artists which they had in last years show.

 

Aki's 9th birthday is coming next week. She is going to invite 10 kids.
I used to cook for gests. However, I realized kids love Pizza Hut more than my dishes. So I'm going to order to Pizza Hut.I'll bake a tiny cake.
And Aki has her own PC(can't use Internet though), a mobile, a camera and lots of books.
Wabisabi " What do you want for your birthday?"
Aki" MASSAGE!"
Wabisabi"....(Oh, thanks, I can't do that. Save money, save money.)
By the way, I didn't have a birthday party, when I was a kid.

Since I have been taking iron tablets for a month my
Hemoglobin and Hematocrit levels have entered the marked ref.range. However, my Red Cell Count is still lower than the
ref.range. So I got my 2006 Blood Tests. It shows 3.9mil/mm3. so I think my Red Cell Count has always been lower than ref. range.
My nose problem was diagonosed as an environmental disease at the American Hospital, it means I'm alergic to the sand and dryness here. Flixonase has been prescribed and I have used it for a week. The symptoms have disappeared.

 

3rd of March is Girls festival in Japan. Erika made sushi princes for all kids.Thanks! you are a genius.

The symbolic dishes consist of sabzeh, or sprouts, usually wheat or lentil,representing re-birth. Samanu is a pudding in which common wheat sprouts are trasformed and given new life as a sweet, creamy pudding, and represents the ultimate sophistication of Persian cooking. Sib meas apple and repesents health and beauty. Senjed, the sweet, dry fruit of the lotus tree, represents love. Seer, which is garlic in Persin, represens medicine.Somaq, sumac berries, represent the colour of sunrise; the appearance of the sun Good conquers Evil.Serkeh,or vinegar represents age and patience. A basket of painted eggs represents fertility. A goldfish in a bowl of water represents life and the end of the astral year-Pisces. Hyacinth or naracissus.A mirror. Two candelabra with candles representing enlightenmnet and happiness. A copy of Koran and a volume of the poems of Hafez.A few coins placed on the Sofreh represents prosperity and wealth.
Especially, Marjor's dish "coco" kind of quishe was great. Thanks for all Iranian people who prepared for today's tea morning.
