12cm x 18cm.
From Karen Littlewood. This is one of my favorite artists.
She is great! I like her way of painting. She does not worry about fussy details and she studied art in Newcastle University. My sponsor was born in Newcastle as well. (He didn't go to the uni though.)These days, I'm calling my husband, a sponsor, because He always encourages my hobby. I need paper which isnot cheap, paint as well. Whenever I try to exhibit my works, I need some mounts and frames as well. My sponsor(husband) never complains about all those costs. In Japan, it is called "Gaman zuyoi". It means "patient". Thank you for helping me all the time. Please give me 10 more years. I'm supposed to be a real artist.Oh, if I can't be I just simply said,"sorry, your investment failed."

15cm x 15cm.
Honestly, there are not many chances to paint birds.
Who can teach me how to ?
This is supposed to be a falcon. Not a chicken. Thanks.

12cm x 15cm.
From my favourite artist,Trevor Waugh.

Just today I remembered something that happened last year, at the Al Ain music school charity concert.
Almost all kids participated for it. A 7 year-old girl's performance impressed all audiences that day.
The girl's name is Siena, she was playing her tune smoothly, but suddenly she forgot the rest of the tune.(because kids are not supposed to use books)
She started staring at the piano without emotion, all audience become just like statues. I can't remember how long it took.
Nobody said anything. Nobody moved.Silence dominated quite long time. Fortunately, Siena remembered the rest of the tune and played until the end. My heart was bouncing. Well done! Well done Siena. She got the best applause in the concert. My daughter, Aki is 8 years old. If she had faced with the same circumstance, would she have been able to overcome like her? So many kids are taking instrument lessons. To play very difficult tunes is very good, but are they taking lessons only for that? Siena taught us why?

20cm x 30cm.
Because the lengths and widths of the camera and PC screen have different ratios, all my pics become wider than my real works.
So this guy seems unbalanced. I don't know how to fix this ratio.

My daughter,Aki's best friend is a Finnish girl. Yesterday,Aki played piano in front of her. That was unusual. Because Aki doesn't like to show off. However, after Aki's performance, her best friend said " Aki, I've never ever listened to such wonderful piano!" Wow, such a compliment. Aki's been taking piano lesson for 3 years. Her level is very normal, she has no outstanding talent. She is very, very normal. But such a compliment! I know that girl's environment(parents)are creating this person who doesn't hesitate to compliment somebody. Japanese especially are not good at compliments. I'm very bad at them. To be positive and sensitive, these are the keys to praising and making people happy.

20cm x 30 cm. pencil.
I didn't paint anything today. So I borrowed my daughter's art. I don't know what it is supposed to be. She's been really seriously drawing this all day. Even when we were playing tennis."Mum, I need a rest." but I realized that was an excuse to draw this. She says it isn't completed yet. I can see two guys faces inside this piece. What can you see? Kids are pure, aren't they?

17cm X 29cm
My plan is to post art work every day. However, I was really busy last week painting for anart exhibition which I had to deliver materials for on 21st of Feb in Dubai. I will paint at least one pic a day from today. Practice! Practice! practice!
I've told you I went to see Salukis last week and took lots of photos of them. But painting hairy animals is the most difficult of subjects for me. I need some more practice. When I mentioned about the Salukis, I told you about we ate their food, but I forgot to tell you about the taste. It was actually very tasty . If the staff hadn't said anything, we would not have known that was dog food.

He couldn't stop telling us about salukis. we were invited into a huge kitchen for saluki and Hamad let us eat saluki food.
Wabisabi,"This is the first time to try to eat dog food."
Hamad," please don't say DOG FOOD. This is saluki's food."
No one said anything..

20cm x 30cm.
Our daughter's(8 years old)work. Kids's work is pure. I feel her work is much better than mine honestly.
My daughter has been having a hard time with one of her classmates for quite a long time. They had a big fight last year. Her class teacher suggested that we should get all together, parents, teacher and kids and talk. I asked my daughter
"I've heard that you had a problem with your classmate. Shall we talk altogher?"
My daughter "No. I don't want to talk any more. We solved the problem already. Please no worries."
Wabisabi(ups, this is my nickname)" ok, if you don't want to talk, we don't mind, but if you need us. Please let us know." Since then, we've never asked her what exactly happened at school. However, it's passed a year and 5 months.I thought it's time to ask her. So I asked her, "I wonder if you could tell me what happened that time?" She started to explain about it. I didn't know at all.
Wabisabi, "Why didn't you tell us at that time? You must have had a hard time."
my daughter " I just didn't want to talk to my parents."
Wabisabi" ....."
I've been thinking she is still a baby, she is still simply a kid, but she is not. I'm proud of her.
Like a bird which has started to fly.

10 x 15 cm.
Khutwa(AI Ain,UAE) is a stunning osasis nesting in the foothills. The first sight of it as you come over the hill, with the intense green of the date palms contrasting with the dark rugged montains, makes for a great picture.
It was really difficult to paint this into a postcard size. I think that painting a bigger size would be much easier. This sounds like a bit an excuse, doesn't it?

post card size 10cm x 1cm.
I still like to pick up photos and paint them. This is a Palestinian girl.
Actually I've been suffering from backache for quite a long time. I went to hospitals, one of them in Al Ain and another in AbuDhabi last week. Even though I showed my MRI and X-ray, they couldn't find out what's causing my backache. The day before yesterday, however, since I couldn't catch a taxi, I walked from a friend's house to my house. It took an hour. when I was walking, I realized that the backache had disappeared.
So I have started walking for at least an hour and half every day.
I like painting, but this hobby must be very bad for the body, because I stick on a chair for quite a long time.

still I like painting post card's size 10cm x15cm.
recently I've found out a fantastic blog.http://hanamomoac.exblog.jp
She lives in the UAE. I don't want to say anything about her here. You can't see how she lives in the desert with her husband and.....
I consider this to be an ideal life. It is simply amazing life! She has great talent of photographing, too.
So I still love to paint portraits, but I've started painting things which I find in our ordinary life. When I was walking from my house to Aramex, I just picked up this golden leave. It reminds me of ginkgo leaves in Japan.Oh,when did I last see ginkgo leave? Maybe 15years ago. I really miss them.

what I type from now doesn't have anything to do with today's art work.

Simply, I don't want to finish this blog from now.

The day before yesterday, a doctor said to me, "You had better go back to your home country and have a precise test of your stomach and intestines, because there is a possiblity you might have cancer." He saw this in my bloodtest.

Haematology Report
Results Ref.Range
Hemoglobin 9.0g/dl 12.3-15.3
Hemotocrit 28% 35-47
Red Cell Count 3.31mil/mm3 4.1-5.1

white Blood Cell Count Differentail Leukocyte count etc all other results are very normal.
The doctor said my Red Cell Count result is lower than ref.range. obviously iron deficiency, but normally only hemoglobin and Hemotocrit. Red cell count wouldn't be affected.
when he said so , my heart started bumping faster and my hands started shaking.
I met another doctor to get a second opinion that night. He said it is very normal. Simply it is iron dificiency.
which opinion should I take?
